Position: RF Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA
30 Month Contract
Targeted Years of Experience:
5-7 years
Responsibilities:
- Review site close out packages, site sweep/PIM results for accuracy, updating databases with necessary information.
- Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams.
- Generate RF propagation plots for review when required.
- Utilize propagation tools and other RF related software such as MapInfo, ATOLL, Datapro for site candidate comparison, propagation and coverage review and selection, zoning and regulatory.
- Prepare necessary zoning/regulatory filings for sites ensuring that compliance is met.
- Attend zoning meetings for assigned area as required.
- Ensure 100% regulatory requirements are met in every phase of design project.
- Conduct RFE analysis, generate required reports and documents, and ensure 100% compliance to RFE mitigation standards within the allotted time frame.

- ATOLL, Roofview and/or RoofMaster, Google Earth / .kml import, FCC ASR and ULS databases, FUZE
- Other desired tools: Microsoft Office suite of products (advanced experience level), Tableau, MapInfo thematic map creation, PIM mitigation techniques, Return Loss and Cable Loss calculations, Sweep measurement expertise, Database management.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
