Omega, the Bay Area's only dedicated pet ICU, is expanding its team of criticalists.
Why work with us? For starters, Omega is owned by an experienced and renowned criticalist, Dorrie Black, DVM, MPVM, DACVECC, and led by Dr. Black with two additional critical care specialists. Omega's primary focus is critical care, with support from other specialties such as surgery, internal medicine, and radiology. Starting in 2025, Omega will expand its team and its services to include more criticalists, as well as an advanced orthopedics department, neurology and neurosurgery services, and an ophthalmology service.
Located in beautiful San Mateo, California just outside of San Francisco, our vision is to be the only veterinary center in the region to serve the most critically ill patients and those needing advanced care. We currently have the Bay Area's best-equipped ICU, with state-of-the-art tools to provide CRRT and TPE therapies as well as top level ventilation and respiratory support.
