ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: * Responsible for all key accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cost Accounting and Payroll within GAAP standards. * Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, including setting calendar, distributing closing checklists, performing preliminary reviews of financial statements. * Review of the manufacturing processes, cost of materials, and variance analysis. * Review weekly disbursement requests and make recommendations based on cash flow objectives and DPO targets. * Supports analysis and implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements. * Act as primary liaison to external auditors and tax accountants, to ensure timely and complete responses on annual, interim, and periodic requests. * Overseeing regulatory reporting including tax planning and compliance. * Manage annual operating budget process. * Manage the cash flow forecast process. * Hiring, training and managing of skilled accounting staff. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Licensed CPA required. * 2+ years of Public Accounting Experience preferred. * Prior experience managing an accounting staff. * Experience directing all functions of AR, AP, GL, Inventory, Cost Accounting and Payroll within GAAP standards. * Experience in the manufacturing, engineering or technology industry a plus. * Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing processes for a growing multi-million dollar corporation. * Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.
