Our well known retail client is looking to bring on a hybrid, contract (w2) Copywriter to support their team ASAP:
Start = early Jan
Duration = approx 6 months with a possible extension
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week onsite at one of our client's main hub offices:
SanBruno, CA
Hoboken, NJ
Bentonville, AR
A background check will need to be completed/cleared prior to starting this assignment.
Copywriter –
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
The projects will span from writing copy for on-site display ads, brand page experiences, larger client solutions campaigns, overseeing and approving projects assigned to our third-party creative team (The Electric Factory), and prepping and presenting pitch decks.
Crafting copy for onsite display ads, brand pages, and higher level initiatives such as client solutions programs. Working with our third party agencies (IDC and TEF) to proofread and approve their copy. Putting together pitch decks for sales and presenting concepts.
What is the makeup of the team?
There are currently two copywriters and one Senior copywriter.
Position Description:

Conceptualizes and writes engaging content for creative initiatives, campaigns, and projects (for example, point-of-view advertisements, marketing campaigns, landing pages)

Contributes to the development of the Content strategyDemonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

Maintains content guidelines and style guides

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field and 1 year experience in copywriting OR 3 years experience in copywriting.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
1 year experience copywriting for online brand initiatives.
1 year experience copywriting in an online creative or related digital field.
1 year experience developing copy concepts in a retail or marketing environment.
1 year experience working for or with creative agencies.
2 years experience copywriting in a retail environment.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.60 – $42.89/hr an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
