Our client, a local university, is seeking a contract to hire Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting efforts across various departments. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a recruiter with a passion for sourcing top talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About You:

1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume hiring.
Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred).
Experience with social media recruiting, job boards, and networking strategies.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws.
Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills.

The Job:

Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job postings to offer negotiation.
Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for administrative, professional, and technical roles.
Screen and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
Coordinate and conduct reference and background checks.
Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruitment plans.
Track and report on hiring metrics and recruitment expenses.
