Truist is looking for an Executive responsible for overseeing developing and managing the current and future state third-party management strategy for Truist ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing the supply chain and third -party cost. Leads a senior leadership team responsible for the strategic sourcing, category management, contract management procure-to-pay operations, and third-party risk operations supplier inclusion and sustainability, and corporate services, (e.g., expense reimbursement catalogues, office supplies and Truist Store.).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Attract, retain, and promote top talent, with a strong focus on diversity and build a robust slate of credible successors for key leadership positions and for opportunities across Truist.
2. Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.
3. Promote risk excellence and sound risk management as the first line of defense by driving and owning third-party bank-wide policies. Also ensure compliance with Bank policies for regulatory directives and other firm-wide directives.
4. Partner with the Truist executive leaders to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, control, consumption and material cost reductions as measured and compared with world class benchmarks.
5. Represent Truist in dealings with clients/balance of trade and external bodies such as regulators and government agencies. Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, broad and deep functional expertise and significant product and financial services regulatory knowledge.
6. Implement process improvements in all phases of the source-to-manage life cycle – supplier rationalization, volume aggregation, preferred vendor programs, product/service requirements and demand management to reduce supplier costs and proactively manage third party related risks.
7. Oversee and drive supplier inclusion and sustainability and supplier relationship management programs to maximize performance, value and ensure contract terms and outcomes are met.
8. Provide leadership for key financial systems including Ariba guided-buy , Archer third-party risk management. and Concur teammate travel and expense reimbursement.
9. Manage assigned Truist Corporate Programs including Travel and expense reimbursement, Office Supplies, Company Store, and associated purchasing catalogues ensuring quality and service levels are high and in compliance with all policies and labor laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent education and related training.
2. Fifteen years of increasingly progressive Procurement, AP, third party risk, corporate services, spend management and Strategic Sourcing experience at a CPO level with regulated organizations known for the strength of their operational, customer service, and risk excellence.
3. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in in building, mentoring and managing a high performing third-party management teams.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and client satisfaction.
5. Direct management experience of a function with strategic development responsibilities in Financial Services and/or heavily regulated industry
6. Exceptionally skilled communication, leadership, consulting/coaching, analytical and problem solving, strong business acumen and a proven track record of delivering material cost savings.
7. Oversee the implementation of digital tools and automation of end-to-end procure-pay processes
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance or Accounting
2. Experience in decentralized and highly matrixed environments where leadership and influencing skills are necessary to bring about change.
3. Broad-based experience involving several of the following functions: procurement, sourcing and third party management.
