This?Business Process Risk Identification (BPRI) Process Engineer?position?is within the Next Gen Enterprise Transformation (nGet) organization's support of the BPRI program.? A BPRI Process Engineer primary responsibility is to utilize several types of documentation, facilitate collaboration with line of business and risk partners in the development of program appropriate process maps.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrated ability to develop process understanding through provided documentation review, squad, line of business and risk partner collaboration
- Facilitate process map walk-through working sessions to elicit and execute on partner provided feedback to ensure accurate process maps
- Effective utilization of written and verbal instruction
- Complete associated business process mapping linkages within process maps to document risks, controls, and other relevant items
- Ability to understand business processes, risk, and control inventories
- Application of critical thinking skills to participate in providing feedback and recommendations on business process design along with associated risks and controls
- College degree or equivalent work experience with emphasis on business process modeling, analysis, compliance, and/or risk management
- Strong organization skills and ability to independently manage multiple concurrent and diverse activities, with the ability to shift focus based on changing and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to be initiative-taking, build and manage relationships, and work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, and various web-based software applications
- Working knowledge of process engineering software systems
- Basic technology knowledge
- Possess strong people skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, to develop and sustain collaborative relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust the approach based upon the intended audience
- Experience with IBM Blueworks Live
