The Associate Specialist, Video Producer, is responsible for creating high-quality short and long-form multimedia content for the Corporate Affairs digital content team. The role supports video production with the goal of driving the company's strategic priorities, telling the company's story and building the corporate brand.
This individual will be responsible for producing, scripting, shooting and editing internal and external video communications for an ever-expanding set of channels and platforms. The Associate Specialist, Video Producer, will partner with stakeholders to create digital stories, presentations and social media content, including working closely with cross-functional teams, including our in-house creative studio, and direct or consult on video projects to ensure consistency in our company's voice, style, brand and channel guidelines.
Location/commute
This role is based at our headquarters site in Rahway (NJ, USA).
We offer a hybrid setup (combination of an in-office (3 days) & remote/offsite (2 days)).
This position cannot be 100% remote, and must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approx. 10% to 25% of their time).
Scope of work and core responsibilities
Under direction of the Head of Digital Content, execute video communications and best practices across multiple internal and external channels, including writing, storyboarding, shooting, directing and editing.
Advise and support cross-functional teams, including executive team members, at various levels of video production as needed.
Maintain video production equipment including cameras, lighting and audio. Manage additional equipment needs and repairs.
Collaborate with analytics and technology teams to ensure optimization of video publishing strategies and tactics for continuous improvement.
Manage content team footage collection and assist colleagues and agency partners with footage retrieval and transfer.
Manage and coordinate with the digital signage team to publish videos across national and international sites.
Remain current on video trends and analysis of competitors.
Maintain consistency of corporate messaging and act as a steward of company brand.
Required qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years of professional shooting and editing experience in film, television, news, online video or a digital agency.
Bachelors degree required
Understanding of the production process with a technical background in film, lighting, capture and editing.
Strong ability and comfort level directing employees and executive leaders clearly and professionally during video shoots.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and handle multiple tasks, competing deadlines and high-pressure situations.
Possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to work collaboratively.
Organized with sharp attention to detail (including grammar, spelling and sourcing of facts)
Strong project management skills and creative problem solver.
Exceptional business acumen with agility in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive with ability to "see" around corners and anticipate needs of our leaders and executives.
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in health care industry, including large Fortune 500 companies.
Experience at a PR agency or equivalent welcome.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
