We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst for a project opportunity with our client in Baltimore, MD. The successful candidate will be analytical, driven, and an excellent communicator. This position is hybrid where employees are expected to be onsite Tuesday through Thursday and can work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Our client will provide a company laptop to be able to work remotely on those days.

Pay Rate: $40+/per hour
Contract Role: 4 months, possible extension based on volume of work, performance, and budget

Responsibilities:

Support finance and accounting tasks related to our client's expansion of retail locations
Provide month-end close support
Assist with audits
Manage post-closing transactions
Mailing deposit slips

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Possess a general understanding of accounting concepts and principles
Prior experience working in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
CRM and ERP systems experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
